O.P.Groover

O.P.Groover is a London based DJ & VFX artist, with eclectic taste in bass.  She’s one of the B BEATS dj’s, who host on rotation every Thursday 8pm (uk time).

From an early age, OllyPollyGroover was forever twirling & dancing.  Back in the day, as part of Cloud23 with PuttyRubber, she VJ-ed chillout rooms at Birmingham & Manchester club nights. Whilst doing events she couldn’t help noticing the DJ’s were always men and didn’t see why blokes should have all the fun, so bought CD decks & started dj-ing.  In 2016, her old pals & other like-minded friends formed B BEATS, promoting ‘fundravers’ in Brighton & Brixton for #savethebees. In 2019, O.P.Groover started hosting weekly “Bassface Show”, a fantastic lifeline through early lockdown days.   In spite of the pandemic, she had 2 of the best gigs of her life at Brixton Courtyard, supporting Dusky in August and the legendary Plump DJs in September, with her progressive house & breakbeat sound.  After 1.5 years, doing a weekly show was getting tiring, so O.P.Groover was delighted fellow B BEATS dj’s PuttyRubber & Neil “Fireball” Fraser agreed to step in & bring their music magic to the radio rota.
